I Answered Yes…

I was born in a small town in Argentina and was raised in a happy family, lacking for nothing. I was brought up by my parents in the Catholic faith, and I took an active part in our parish life. When I was 15 years old, the parish priest invited me and the other youth of the parish to join him on a mission trip to some villages.

From the Waves of the Pacific to Rome…

I was born in the kingdom of the Tongan Islands, which is in Oceania. Life on my island was tranquil, running with the rhythm of the unceasing waves. My twin brother and I are the oldest of seven children. How, then, did the Lord find me in a land so far away, and not even in a Catholic family but a family of Protestants?

A Letter to the Love of my Life…

Dearest Jesus, You are my Love, to whom I offer my whole heart… The first time I heard this song, it touched my heart deeply. Even though I did not understand all the words of the song or their meaning completely, I liked it very much.

Not Your Things, But Your Life…

The Lord was calling me when I was 12 years old, but I turned a deaf ear. I thought instead of getting married, and planned to set aside a room in my house where I would gather everything I could spare to give to the poor.

The Most Divine of Divine Things…

When asked to tell my vocation story, I returned willingly to my childhood. The time of preparation for First Holy Communion was a time when the Lord placed his love in my heart. I was able to grow in faith living in a family very devoted to the Lord.
